About Us

The Junifer story started in 2009 when the current management team recognized that there was a gap in the current provision of backend systems for utility companies.

Having built, managed and sold customer information and billing systems into the telecoms sector over the past 20 years, they recognized that there was a need for a flexible, scalable solution that would easily cope with upcoming smart energy revolution, and the volume of new customer and meter data that this would entail.

Junifer’s first systems went live within an energy supplier in 2012, and to date, Junifer has over 25 utility customers around the globe, all using the Junifer system to service and manage their diverse and growing customer bases.
