Junifer Telco CCB

For any Telecom Operator that has interconnect agreements with domestic or international carriers Junifer Telco provides the business with the ability to manage these costs and revenues on a near real time basis.  The Junifer Telco system processes every kind of traffic from voice to complex data and content services, provides visibility of profit margins and ultimately provides the operator with a genuine edge in an increasingly competitive market.

The core system is a set of rich GUI applications used to configure and monitor the Junifer system. The additional modules that can be integrated with the core are Mediation, Settlements, Retail (which incorporates A/R and Prospecting), Interconnect / Wholesale and our Web enabler. The core system consists of CRM, Rating and Billing functionality.

CRM

It enables CSRs (Customer Service Representatives) to easily access all information relating to the end customer including their service orders, products, associated price plans, usage information and invoice images. It also provides the system administrators with the ability to manage the end-to-end processing including bill production within the Junifer system. Key to commercial success is the ability to rapidly introduce new products and services to the market. Junifer Telco is designed so that even the most complex products can be easily added – this ensures that the billing system is an enabler to launching new products in the market. 

Rating

The rating functionality can be used as a standalone product, but is an integral part of the Junifer Telco CCB product. The Junifer Telco Rating module supports all standard wholesale, interconnect and retail business services, including Direct Connect, Freephone, Number Translation, Call Line Identifier(CLI), Internet Protocol and Media. Competition in the market means operators must be aware in near real time of the impact of price changes on their traffic flows – Junifer Telco processes and rates traffic as it is presented to the system. It provides executive management with up to date alerts on revenues, costs and margin at the most detailed level – this ensures that the operator can pro-actively manage their network minimizing their costs and ultimately maximizing profits.

Billing

The billing functionality provides the telecom operator the ability to support convergent bills of multiple products and services. Different invoice formats allows separate customer segments to be treated differently, minimising delayed payments through easy to read and understandable invoices. The dedicated GUI enables administrators to monitor the automated billing process and quickly address any issues that arise.  

Junifer Mediation

The Junifer Mediation module translates switch and IN platform EDR (Event Data Record) files into a standard Junifer format thereby enabling downstream Junifer products to be platform and switch agnostic. Data can be 'pulled' or 'pushed' from the switch collection device. Data is automatically processed once it becomes available, thereby ensuring that the Telco Operator has an up-to-date and accurate snapshot of rated usage and associated margins as soon as it is practically possible.

Junifer Settlements

Statements can be produced in the same format as invoices received from interconnect partners. The partner invoice can then be imported into Junifer Telco and compared with the statement, and differences reconciled. ITU settlements are supported, where differences are manipulated according to agreed rules, until a balance is achieved.

Junifer Web Portal

The Junifer Web Portal provides the business with an integrated web solution enabling customers to view their account, bills, bill images and multi-utility usage. The Junifer system is typically configured to reduce the volume of printed invoices through electronic billing thereby saving in both paper usage and related bulk mailing costs.

Junifer Retail

Junifer Retail has been designed with the flexibility to support all current and emerging voice, data, bandwidth and content billing on a single platform, with all the associated range of services this means. Together with the wide range of business models supported, Junifer Retail gives the best possible visibility of costs, revenues, and also margins. Junifer Retail installations are typically deployed in large customer volume environments (compared with Junifer Settlements or Junifer Interconnect) and as such includes optional integrated Accounts Receivables and Trouble Ticketing functionality.

Junifer Interconnect / Wholesale

Junifer Interconnect / Wholesale has been designed to provide Telco operators with a single solution that calculates both income/invoices and cost/statements in medium and large volume wholesale interconnect environments. Junifer’s in-built ability to rate a single CDR multiple times in one pass enables the solution to supports all traditional products (e.g. standard interconnect, number translation, indirect access and porting services), services built on mobile and intelligent networks (e.g. email, SMS) and local rating variations (e.g. payphone levies, costing based on point of interconnect).
