Traditional utility bill processing was based on taking estimated or measured readings on an irregular basis, but typically once a quarter. With the advent of the Smart Meter, Utility Operators will have the ability to process meter readings from households or businesses potentially every half hour resulting in a significant increase of valuable data. This in itself will put a massive strain on systems that were not designed with this purpose in mind, but will also provide significant opportunities for differentiation within the Utilities market.

their extensive experience in processing in excess of one billion records a day in telecoms

The solution is component based and can easily be scaled depending on subscriber counts in combination with the volume of meter readings. It uses virtual technology to enable scalability to be increased as required. This unique technology enables customers to implement our software in cost effective commodity hardware environments.
In addition, the software uses state of the art Graphical User Interface (GUI) concepts that ensure it is easy to use in any Utility.
